I realised loneliness can exist even in a crowd.

Went to Connaught Place today after almost 6 months just to roam around.

Strangely, while walking around CP, I started feeling very alone. Maybe because everywhere I looked people were with their girlfriends, friends, laughing, enjoying.

I’m currently in a complicated relationship situation, and today it just hit differently.

Is it normal to feel this way in crowded places? Or is it just me overthinking?

Also curious when you feel this kind of loneliness, is the solution actually finding a new partner or fixing other parts of life first?

27M here, just trying to understand my own head.

CP is a market for shopping and a place for a bit of recreation not look at other people. You go there with a plan as to what all you would do there and there is a bit of serpendity. People you see there are strangers they wouldn't connect with you.

An educated mature person can never feel lonely. They have higher perspectives and goals.

Contemporary India is a low IQ society where people need cheap dopamine supply continually so as not get choked. People here can't be lonely by themselves even for few minutes.

You went to a place of leisure and recreation and you didn't do that and did everything else.

Yap so right. People here can't be alone with their own company. Abroad it's really cool to chill on your own, eat by urself etc.

Not being part of a community of like minded people definitely makes one feel that.

It is not about having high intellectual maturity n shit like someone commented.

Feeling lonely is a human thing, being part of community is how Humans have evolved. I still remember the quote from Into the Wild

“Happiness is only real, when shared”

This is exactly what I feel everyday. And just because of this I don't prefer going outside.

+1, I think this happens with everyone, what I do is 'nothing' and leave it to time, it solves/heals all emotions.
