How does a 40 something old stay in touch with Gen Z culture while running a company? 😬
Stay in their company or hire 2 interns and let them build a culture of the company. They will teach you a lot on aesthetics and managing lifestyle.
I feel age is just a number
One should be ready to involve and think as the age group he she is in things become easier ... just my opinion

Thanks a lot for this question and answering this as my first answer on this AMA. Shein entry just shows the importance of the GenZ fashion market and makes companies like us more focussed on solving for the needs of the consumers.
I honestly feel that Shein Entry makes the Indian market very lucrative for GenZ and it helps to expand the market and gives customers lot more choices which they deserve.
Yes we do manufacturing in China as well but very proud to say that we have moved 40% production in India already and we continue to scale our supply chain in India.

Hi Sumit, what’s the one thing about GenZs that all non GenZ people in business/startups need to understand?
Learn to work with them and understand their aesthetics. They love Macha and need a great space to work in office.
I strongly feel that GenZ are more focussed and they have a very strong multi-tasking abilities.
What’s the difference between blip and your startup ? How will you overcome shortcomings you saw in their startup ?
We are a Fast Fashion company and we control end to end supply chain. Not every much aware of blip shortcomings but we think NEWME Zip will become an industry best platform over time for GenZ consumers
Why is it only for girls? Couldn't find anything for men on the website
We are building it for women for now as we are building one of the most efficient class supply chain tech to support fresh launches every week.
We will launch for Men in a few years for sure. Till then pls wait :)
Your thoughts on the promotion of needless consumption that fast fashion encourages?
Thats a very wrong perception and with efficient supply chains, Fast Fashion has minimal wastage. In India we need to have more Fast Fashion companies to build some of the most iconic companies
Even though production may be efficient, the end result veers towards mindless purchasing. What happens after your product has served its “purpose”? I’d be interested in knowing if you’ll have any thoughts/intentions in that direction.
