How to network at Product Mixers?

Being an introvert I find it really hard to go to mixers and cold approach attendees. Though I also know that because of this I am losing out on building a network.

How do some of you walk up to people you dont know? What do you talk about?

Everyone is figuring this out as they go OP.

After a couple of mixers, it becomes second nature.
I suffer from social anxiety at times, but have been going to mixers for sometime now. It does get easier.

Also, no matter how good the folks are it is just like any other social interaction. You might network with tons of people, but might vibe with a couple.
Good luck! 😇

Attend mixers, and see if it benefits you in a way you want.

I usually attend mixers by saas companies who focus on consumer stuff. Like webengage, moengage sponsored ones.

I’m shy just like you, after attending few of them you start getting hang of things. Mostly you’ll enter some group chats, talk about what you do, talk about problem that you recently solved, talk about challenges you’re facing or your company is facing. It does help sometime if you meet someone really experienced.

Good luck. I know you’ll rock it 😁

How to Network?

I have identified my limiting factors here

  1. Introvert, very bad at small talk (any talk for that matter)
  2. My first reaction to networking is to get a job, and when that doesn't happen; there's no common table

I know networking does...
