How soon is too soon to leave your org?

I joined x company 1.5 months ago, but in a couple of weeks realised that my manager is going to create lots of problems. She works late, on weekends, commends people who extend beyond working hours to finish tasks regularly while others aren’t, and is impatient in general. During a particularly stressful release schedule, she lost her cool once or twice, even with me, for a mistake I made on my first ever live project with the company. She insisted that I have to pick things up quickly (I was 2 weeks into this job where the technology, tools, processes are completely new) or else, it’d be a different conversation. In another instance, I had requested to wfh for a day as my wife was unwell and couldn’t get up from her bed. I explained this to the manager and was about to tell her that I can work from office another day to make up for it (I don’t have to, but I figured I should do it considering I just joined), but she shut me down saying that there is a team meeting. Btw, the company policy is to WFH for 3 days + WFO for 2. I have 5.5 years work ex and I know enough to predict that my life at x company is not going to be easy. I would love to hear inputs!

Just leave the place. I'm in a similar situation, but I'm unmarried and my manager is not this toxic (but toxic enough).

In my case, I'm sticking for a few more months to see if things cool down, but if they don't, will leave before probation.

In your case buddy, chaati chaudi karke baat karlo manager se - That you're not comfortable with the way you're treated, and you have no space in life to work beyond the designated working hours. If she's okay with this, you can stay, otherwise leave.

Yaad rakho, voh tumhara paycheck nhi bana rhi hai, company bana rhi hai. And you need to remind her of that if you want to survive.
