Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL and other top ten companies hire top class engineers from top colleges and put them in support projects. In a few years, those engineers career is destroyed, stuck in same project for years, same role and 5 percent hike every year . Please believe me, if you did not get placed in these companies, you have a better future as you can join midsize companies as actual software developers and not as support engineers and get a continuous growth in career and salary.
With TCS raising the salary by 2X, the freshers who rejected TCS offers are really gonna suffer because of this. Shameless company

Freshers who were hired from tier 3 college don't have any option they have to chose this because while placements the placement officers restricted us from having other offers and the guys had only Wipro's offer had no chance
