How much money will make you say 'I quit' from this sick corporate life and retire to do what you want/love?????

I don't plan to have kids, my targets are -
3cr barista fire 5cr lean fire 10cr comfortable fire 20cr top cap - I wouldn't be able to spend more than this meaningfully

When I hit 5, I'll quit if I hate my job. If it's manageable I'll go till 10. I'll go till 20 only if i enjoy my job. After 20 I will stop working for money and do open source/charity/social work full time.

Is it even possible to make 20cr for everyone who retires in corporate world?? I think 1 flat and 4-6cr is max one can save on average. May be high earners can earn 20+ but not everyone can target 20cr for retirement

Doesn’t it feel funny hum log gaand ghiste rhte hai ki thoda paisa bach jaye , SIP kar le taaki future thoda secure kar ske khud ka . And then there are folks jo gaand hila k insta pe laakho chhap rhi hai , politician crores ka ghotala kar rhe hai.

Btw to answer your questions I feel - If the house is sorted 3-4 cr is more than enough to retire in Tier2-Tier3 cities.

The flaw is staying in city like bangalore. If I have loan free house in Bangalore then I would sell it and get 3 tier my home town and buy a house over there if have 1 crore bank balance, I would be still working but at a place where it is not stress full (especially physically active to keep me healthy)
