How much corpus do I need if i want to retire by 40?
I'm 28 years old right now. And what I feel is I don't want to work in corporate beyond 40. How much corpus i need to make if plan to do SWP and earn decent 3-4 lakh per month passively.
I know the number may sound very aggressive but that's just my goal

I think u should have a corpus of 8 CR Say you will be taking 40L out every year then it will be 5% of the corpus and corpus will keep growing with better rate
It will depend upon the city in which you will be in after retirement. I would say minimum 8cr considering that if u get even 2 Lakh per month after retirement u will re invest some amount. It will also depend upon your family responsibilities. Additionally, get a good health insurance plan and life insurance. Health insurance plans from office is very good compared to if u have purchased it individually.
