Not great right now. Know quite a few folks who've been on the bench for ~8 weeks or more
Promotions are definitely expected to be delayed. Problem is more concentrated for consultant promotions - way too many people up for promotion and unlikely the firm can promote as many. You just have to be prepared for the scenario that the promotion is delayed for any factor beyond your control
Heard from friend at a top firm that hiring has skimmed down to all time lows. And there’s a lot of anxiety about cuts at their firm
