Well you don't. You just lay back. Take a break. Try to wiggle off the layoff part from head. See it as your new lifestyle adaptation. Your new comfort zone. Give it some time.

Eventually, you'll come to your senses that you've been too much convoluted in this loss of routine due to layoff. And then you start focusing on what you really want to pursue and fill in your schedule. From workouts, to maybe learning new stuff, to figuring out how the job market works, how to or whether to get back into a job and so on.

That's the neat way.

The right way.......well......start looking for a new job already (if you want to get back into one). There's no use of waving your ticket at the station as the train has already left the station. Understand how the small brains of a lot of HRs, that you meet, works. Make use of it. Get opportunities. Onto the new job. New routine. New phase of life. New friends. New chaos. New toxicity 😂

Layoff severely breaks confidence

I've been laidoff, searching for a job. Had stepped out for a walk and I saw my school teacher crossing the road from the other side. I, being a person who always talks to people, turned my face and sneaked away, not having the confide...
