They are ruthless, they guard Apple's interest like it is their own baby I think this is where they won (apart from money)

Dunno, I got mixed feelings. If u start identifying urself with ur work then life will get tricky once the work is gone

Work is everything. In this day and age, one is identified by the work they do. I sometimes feel we all have a price tag on us. You’ll be valued and respected based on the number on your tag. Work is life, life is work. It’s better to accept it and work towards it. Your family- be it your spouse, your kids and your in laws respect you based on your back balance. The same goes for your friends. The richer you are, better your life is!

I understand this but those who achieved everything they could dream of, come to realise that - that wasn’t the answer. You should do enough to keep those closest to u happy and ur surrounding blissful. But u shouldn’t go overboard such that u miss on the simple treasures of life. If on ur death bed, all u have to look back on is ur work - how sad would that make u? Just have a conversation with urself around this

So according to OP: Swades humaari maare achha h, Desi humaari maare to bura h. Ok got it

Sad but that's what most people have in mind 🥲

Man it is baffling to see this, if we replace Apple with zomato or swiggy, freaking pitchforks will be lighted up (when comparing PPP even they pay similar for SDE and Management roles + Ab apple mein IOS develop karna aur zomato mein grocery ke paise manage karne ke hisaab se, salary is also pretty good). There is a huge problem in India with sucking upto foreign companies.

Is this from a very old time? Because I imagine they can't really use this to motivate employees anymore (given their size and given they're big tech)
This would work best in the early to middle growth days I feel

Well the kind of mediocre talent that they have been hiring recently , I dunno how this is going to fit or how relevant it is.

I am not denying the mediodrity of Accenture. I am acknowledging the mediocre talent Apple has been accumulating at their leadership position from their SI vendors like Infosys etc.

Read something on LinkedIn today which was very valid -
"If someone has to consistently work hard in a job, either they are not made for that job, or they haven't learnt how to work. If none of these are true, then they are nothing but glorified slaves"

This is a very inspiring message!

Ironically, Severance debuted on Apple TV+
