Hi all the Freshers and Interns, Would you pay for a 1 on 1 mentorship with a professional from your field of interest

All of these can be solved by simply learning how to google

🙂 no mento is sitting idle they also have work and things to do so even if you'll get me a call with them, it's very likely that "study material" you'll be giving will be created by you maybe with or without collaboration with mentor, as far as customized solutions are concerned

How would you guarantee results? Let's say in my case I'm bba graduate I want to go in field of machine learning, you get me a mentor but how would he advise me in a personal way to break into something like machine learning when he'll most likely froma technical background? Even if he'll it's no more than a wild guess of saying hey do xyz and apply maybe you get in ?? Then what's customized in that ?

Planning career ? Well idk about this since first 3 aren't met i really doubt I'll pay someone to plan my career journey.

For what will I pay ?
Say mentor has worked in previously in ex company that I'm trying to get into so indirectly i would pay for AMA in hopes of refferal but then you can only give so many refferals 🙂

Never dude.....its all a scam. You have to build out your network. I am a 4th year student and knows anybody everybody inn VC - Lightspeed, blume, gsf, kaalari etc etc
Dont pay for this shit...people who really want to help you, will help you nonetheless and folks who ask for money for mentorship dont really has much to offer

It would work if you’re giving them some “Real Valuable Content” and not just content that are already available on the internet. Maybe you can simplify your content for any layman or students ready to get into corporate
But apart from that, I dont think anything else would add any actual value to your audience. Its just a way for you to add some passive income for a couple of months until your reputation is ruined on internet and eventually your courses/seminar/AMA become obsolete

With 10+ YOE, I can definitely tell what not to do in early days of your career, it takes good amount of hardwork to reach pay parity with tier 1 grads or more and if you are from tier 3
