We are building a database of talented and pre-evaluated students and freshers to make it easier for companies to hire the best talent and reduce the risk of hiring the wrong ones.
Companies that are hiring interns or freshers usually post on Internshala or Naukri where they get 1000's applications, and priority is given to the more "ai optimized" resume and not the most talented candidate. Because of this, many students and freshers miss out on good opportunities, complain about the job market being shit, and companies complain about the new talent they hire and call them lazy, egotistical etc
We are currently building a product that evaluates a candidate on a bunch of parameters, not just technical abilities, and these parameters will be the ones relevant for a company that would want to hire (ability to learn new skills, collaborative abilities, ability to work in a team etc). This will give both the company and the candidate a better idea of their abilities and where they stand.
To test out this model, we are currently conducting a 5-day cohort for students where they collaborate with other students from other academic backgrounds and work on company given problem statements that can potentially land them an internship and also get mentored and evaluated by industry experts. For the students who dont end up with an internship, they still get a good portfolio worthy project that they can showcase. And the best part is that it's entirely free.
