HCLTECH SECRET LAYOFF
In the past month HCLTech has hired over 6000 freshers for government subsidies and other tax benefits under the name of “creating employment”. And in these hiring people with zero skills are hired on base package of 3-4LPA. Now since this is an over hiring and they can’t lay off the newly hires. They started this micromanaging technique of mandatory 12 days ( 3 days in a week ) and 8.5 hours of laptop time tracked and those who aren’t adhering this even by 2-3% are being asked to put down the PAPER !! Now the managers are literally micromanaging on everything and finding ways to kick out peeps. Even the ones who are putting down the paper are being kicked out in a week or two. No notice period. Internal Politics is crazy right now and situation is bad.

The insane amount of time and money invested in micro-management and then they cry about no profits and skilled people moving out. The cycle would never end because the upper management need to get that sweet Richie rich cars and villas added to their collection and cutting out employees is the best way possible because God forbid if they invest in talent and actually be awesome competitors naah they just hire and fire and make noise and fake stories about talent and skillset issue.

It’s not a theory, it’s a thing practiced at every big Tech.
Govt pays 1-3 month salaries to employees and HCL enjoys benefits like tax, free money, free workforce and more profit as they kick old folks and hires new for literally 1/4th of salary.

We also need to consider the fact that lots of freshers and experienced candidates are faking their educational background and work experience to get into IT. I know many such people in my area who just saw the packages people getting in IT. Joined classes where they get everything fake including educational certificates, experience letters, salary slips, edited fake bank statements also these classes have registered companies which there only for the name sake no business. These guys are actually getting jobs where as real computer background candidates are not getting jobs because these classes has tie ups with HRs from big companies whom they pay bribes to select their candidates. Some servive the work pressure specially girls but some gets fired. Girls get sympathy and help from other male workers so somehow they manage to keep the job.
Is it only for freshers? Experienced people also fired ?
