Hi folks, just dropping in to say that I have failed three interviews all of which that I had hoped to close.
I am in marketing so the answers in the interview aren't generally right or wrong. Different people perceive your answers differently and most people generally only do vibe check I guess. One of the interviews was really good but it required doing a presentation which I suck at. I got nervous while presenting.
I was actively looking for a new role and spent nearly three weeks in frantically applying anywhere I could. Finally shortlisted 4 companies to appear for and 3 of them rejected me.
Feeling sad. Can't tell wife, friend or family so confessing here. Please send prayers and any referal for a good marketing role in B2B. Yoe 9 years and TC is 36 without stocks.
Don't worry. Interviews take time. I've been rejected so many times that I hardly remember the count before every switch. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just polish what you think needs a little bit buffing, and you'll succeed. Best of luck.
