Had a fight with childhood friend !!

(29M - Married) Is it just me or someone else who's friends keep joking each & everytime. I know dosto mai masti mazak chalta rhta h par ek limit tak. After a moment it starts to feel insulting.

Reason I am bringing this here because had an argument with my closest childhood friend. Apparently he told me- "Mai kisi ki juti k barabar nhi hu" & this I felt very insulting. Not sure whether I did right or wrong confronting him. Earlier i dont used to mind such statements, but now these hurts a lot.

It seems I am slowly losing all my old friends!! Feels like I am no longer that old carefree guy(especially after getting maaried), but have changed to someone who carries some amount ego and pride.

Need your thoughts on this if you ever experienced such thing in your life.

You need to set boundaries,I used to be the same. What ever relationships you are in first they will insult you in the name joke, then they will insult you for small things ,then they ignore you and treat you like shit take you for granted.Within a year or two you will be in a toxic relationship/friendship.

It's sad but true. It's better to lose them than staying with them putting up all their bullshit. I experienced this with my friends both girls and boys.(Girls are the worst).
