Groww Onsite Review
Recently got an opportunity with Groww as SDE-2, how's the job security?
Don't really want to leave family and move to Bangalore. Also pay difference wouldn't really matter due to onsite expenses.

I can assure you one thing, being in Groww would be much better than Apna.
Apna is facing some turmoil in the world tbh.
I know but I am facing a challenge shifting the whole family to bangalore since I have dependents who are comfortable at home - gurugram and not ready to move. Might be giving up this opportunity for a remote or NCR based company
Wish groww had remote/wfh culture
I would suggest if you still have time for joining you can apply to companies offering remote work for the foreseeable future. I believe if you're able to crack an interview at Groww then you should be able to do it in other startups too.
PocketFM is hiring for SDE 2. They don't have any plans to start mandatory work from the office.
Yeah, took this as an experience and preparation. I have declined the offer for now and will stick to current org given current market conditions and my personal life. I believe family and mental peace is more important for me rn. Will take some time to recharge, prepare and await till market corrects itself.

Why did you interview if you didn't want to move to Bangalore. That's your answer
Reason being earlier it was mentioned remote when I applied but after interview they said they are calling everyone onsite so eventually you'll have to move
That's a risk with every company. Someone says that we're remote and 2 months after joining it becomes WFO. What are you gonna do?

A year back i have interviewed it appeared to be unorganised as the interview was on 7pm and from desk, but mybe better now
Don’t have insider info but Groww is a fast growing startup . It might be a good place to learn about growth. I would join it if given an opportunity.
