Got laid off today

My company terminated my employment today. Apparently, new manager came in last month and he said that evolving business needs doesn’t have the right role for me in the team.

I have been in this company for more than 1.5 years. Had a roller coaster ride started as a BDR, moved to Alliance Analyst and 6 months ago, got restructured to Marketing team as a Marketing Campaign Analyst.

What makes me angry the most is that a newly appointed digital marketing leader can fire people so easily who has not been in the company for a month.
