Got 0% hike this year in ADP

Received 0% hike this cycle. Manager explained it’s due to system calibration and relative performance compared to peers. I feel I put in more effort this year compared to previous years, and I’ve never received a 0% hike before. Has anyone else faced this? How did you deal with it? And what you suggest?

Move on. Don't overstay. I know a person from my previous job, who stayed in the company for 20 years and got 0% raise. It is so bad that his reportees are paid more than him.

Resign and move on. 0% hike means you are not important and after 6 months if you don’t move away manager may slowly put you in pip if needs arise from business and this is the first indication from leadership that if required you wi be the first in line.

Rule of thumb: if your hike doesn’t beat that year’s inflation rate, it’s time to start preparing.

We have April cycle appraisal yearly. It happened with me, initially they told they will give in August then December then no appraisal in December 2024 then he told he will give good hike in April 2025. Later my manager resigned got job somewhere I have no one ask.

It's better to get job somewhere and put down paper's market is not good these days

Hey, I got a 0% hike four months ago. I worked on weekends too, and my review was exceeding expectations. I guess that was just on paper. And guess what? I got an offer letter ASAP. I resigned and moved out of my previous company. Life is good. Do the same. They don't care about you, you shouldn't care for them either

Move on. No matter how much salary one is drawing, no sane company will give 0% hike. You should move on.
