I’m not sure how to say this, I’m currently interviewing with Google India for L5 role and have one of the round scheduled next week. After yesterday’s layoff news, I checked with my recruiter and says we’re still on for next week’s interview. Can anyone in Google India share some insights about recent layoffs. Thanks

Avoid joining at L5. Its a terminal level. L3/L4 with 3-6 years of EXP are stuck with promos from past 3 years. If you are fine with L5 for Alteast 5 years (basically brand name) then join else if you want growth and money go for other FAANGMULA

There are many speculations internally that there gonna be many waves of layoffs. Try apple or Nvidia. They are the only companies that are least likely to lay off
