The first apes: Worked for bananas. Simple KPIs: survive, climb tree, don't die.

Great-granddad's generation:

• Just Work
• Work for dignity
• Didn't ask "why". Just showed up
• Retired with a photo, a biscuit tin and arthritis

Granddad's generation:

• Work loyal
• Stay 25 years in the same company
• One job. One house. One boss. Zero panic attacks
• Get promoted after your manager dies or retires. Whichever is slower

Dad's generation:

• Work Smart, Work for someone else's future
• Focus on child's pedigree, house loan, car loan and EMI
• Spent half their life climbing, other half wondering why they climbed.

My generation:

• Works for visibility
• Loyalty is performative. Burnout is aesthetic. Gratitude is scheduled.

Next generation:

• Would rather just ask ChatGPT

Generation after that:

• Managed by an AI manager
• Will be awarded banana by AI for being the most compliant human in the database
• Same Goal as the first ape
• Simple KPIs: survive, climb tree, don't die
