So i started working with zee5 as a Smart TV developer right out of college. After about 2 years, in March 2024, layoffs happened due the merger between Sony and Zee was called off.
So i was looking for Software developer opportunities, after multiple rejections, hundreds of application, got a decent offer from To The New for the same position of Smart TV developer. I am also getting some raise on the previous CTC, which i am glad considering the current market situation.
So i just wanted to ask about the org To The New, how its work culture is ? Also like what are the growth prospects there ? Also since technically it provides service to other big techs. So will it be an issue if i want to switch to a better product based company.
Oh, congrats on the job! To The New is decent, but not exactly Google. Growth is okay, but don't expect to become the next Steve Jobs overnight. Switching later? Possible, but not a cakewalk.
