Getting to FMCG or Consumer Products

How do I get into FMCG/CPG (HUL, P&G, ITC, Marico, etc.) firms for category/brand management/marketing roles? I have a strong background of 6+ years in AI/ML having worked for retail clients. Also built domain experience and business context in category management and digital marketing. Don’t have any field marketing or sales background. Have MBA from a top Bschool as well. How should I prepare for cracking such roles and what are the expectations of these firms?
