Like literally bro just said that it's a 7 day work week for the next quarter and fuck your personal life and doesn't even bother to highlight that there would be any gratification for the same.
The mid-senior leadership just acts as pawns and complies with this and in case you highlight this shit show you're fired.

Arrogance and Entitlement is earned. I think this dude has earned it. why is that Ceo's if filing companies always talk like this? as if, everybody works 24X7 the company would become profitable.?
I have never seen Mukesh ambani or ratan tata or even chandrasekhar send out mails like this to their employees? thier mails usually contain generic work hard statements, but never like this. May be they dont now how to run a business.

Software companies have Employees as money generating resource, while RIL, TATA etc have their money coming through commodities etc in their baseline businesses.

Just to give you a rebuttal, work conditions in manufacturing are tougher. Cars dont assemble themselves. People in manufacturing, especially shopfloor performance is tracked to the minute. Even The breaks are timed. it has nothing to do with commodities or personnel. TCS survived multiple recession, I don't remember them writing mails this explicit. As @ElonMast said, this is all about spreading the blame. Compared with other ceos one of them doesn't know how to run the show. Looking at the p&l we can safely assume who.

I'm sure @GermoineHranger they aren't giving you extra comp or stocks/esops for this... just keep applying non-stop. It'll take some time. But will be very helpful in maintaining mental peace.

Yeah bro, started applying again. Not going to a part of this shit show where you're lashed out if you call out things (trying to maintain a work-life balance even after clocking 8 hours of non-stop work on daily basis) upfront and the management doesn't even have the balls to credit you if you've worked your ass off.
