its a company that makes bed. It should not even exist in the first place. in my area there is father/son duo who are in this business for the last 40-50 years. Only 2 employees. they are the boss/ they are the janitor. This whole "brand bano.... brand bano" is just suitable for shark tank.

It's not even about brand. You can build brand with small number of employees.
They just wanted exponential growth. They can't wait 50 years. They want it in 5. This desire to become multi billion dollar company in a short time is what causes these problems.

I wonder how wale fit employees slept after hearing this news.

Even if it’s true, media will show as 30-40% max like Dunzo ;-)

Guess they're not bouncing back like their mattresses

It's not about brand building or marketing. They sell MDF wood bed (basically artificial wood) at the price of solid wood. Their core customer base is bachelors, specific tier 1 high earning customer. How much can you sell to same customer. That too of poor quality.
We have teak wood furniture at our house and it is in same condition since last 50yrs. Why would I go for cheap quality just because someone is trying to sell it as branded.
I don't invite people to my bedroom or carry by bed with me everywhere to showoff that it's a branded product.
Quality > brand
