Having lost both my parents, sometimes I feel extremely sad and demotivated for life ahead. I feel at the end we all will die and there is absolute no control on anything that happens with us. Still we are in this rat race of earning more blah blah. What's the point

The way you feel, It is understandable. Parents never stop looking after their kids even after they died. So Imagine your parents are looking at you and they will never wish that you live your life disappointed, sad & demotivated. They wish for you to be cheerful, happy & sucessful. To see you as someone who do good to them selves and to the others around them.
The result of something is not in your control, but you have control on your actions.

We are gonna die soon anyways , why make it sooner.
Just breeze through life, chill out and in the end death will be waiting with eternal peace.
Where did they go? Part of your mom and dad are inside you, mentally biologically. Agree trauma will be there but that’s life. Cheer up buddy.
The point is to find fulfilment and satisfaction before you die.
