Actually they're hiring us with higher pay. Higher than ever before specifically for fresh graduates.
He/she is referring to yourself after 5-8 years when you will be getting your ""higher than before"" salary. It's like they will replace you with someone at lower pay.
Which college and how many offers they made in your college?
It's a tier 1 engineering college in India. They made 27 offers here.
