I majorly work with clients for long term so I don’t have to look out for new clients every now and then. I didn’t leave my full time job, it’s still there. I took a break of 4-5 months but got so bored that just for the company I got into job.

How do you manage taxes, is it like you have to pay 18% GST every month and then Income tax as per slab on top of that?
18% gst is only for Indian clients which is just handful and I charge them the 18%. For others it’s just the profits are added to my slab and then I have to pay taxes.
Not that you asked but last year i paid 30L in taxes :)
