Favouritism and extreme toxic work culture at Jar?

One of my friends works at the Jar app and she is too frustrated with the toxic work culture there. Without any reason they're firing people and it doesn't look like they are getting any funding. She left a month ago but was ready to take legal action against the company. The product team is just drowning and the marketing team has a lot of dissatisfaction . Even the ex-employees never say good things about the company.

Is there anyone who has worked at Jar or is currently facing the same?

It's shit. Their app is shit. Seems so intrusive and I don't know if this digital gold business is sustainable at all. The leadership lacks vision running on shiny object syndrome. Those who can stay silent, without any objections will survive. Their employee retention is bad too. People hardly stay for more than 8-10 months

What’s happening at Jar?

Hearing rumours that they are raising more money while the culture keeps detonating, many are fired and many have left with no product roadmap clarity

Interview experience with Jar

Has anyone interviewed with Jar recently? The company has been hiring for the SPM role for the last 6 months (afaik). Are they not able to hire one or are they hiring more than one person for the same position?
