Fashion is hard. They are trying to add tech to age old manufacturing labour intensive setups. So much of it happens on network and relationships, that there isn't much scope for change unless you pump a LOT of money
Fashion is not hard. It's just overcrowded. Do they really believe that people will start buying clothes just because you put in on a website?;These businesses have not started to be profitable. But to raise funds and make money out of it.
I'm sure you must have read what these companies do. Do not compare them with ecom players.
