Failed Content Creator wants to join Ditto

A friend of mine has been experimenting with content creation but has failed to generate any money through it. He has decided to join Ditto and pursue content creation part time but there, he has been asked to sign a contract which says post training you have to serve for 15 months or pay ₹75k. I was shocked to know that there's a contract at Ditto and not notice period. Is this a red flag?
