[exploitation?] just read about the 3Y bond in Mu Sigma and wtf
Company calls it 21L packages, but it’s not per annum rather a cumulative of 3 years.
So the data is old but from what i read,
you get 3.3lpa for the first 15-18 months, post that you receive a one time 5L bonus.
then you work for 5.5lpa for a year,
and finally 7.25 lpa for the third year
And if you leave between the 3Y, you have to return the 5L bonus with 6 month notice period.
if you don’t want notice period, pay up 10L
Anyone from MuSigma who can throw light on this?

Quite a scam. Why are you working in such a company? Contact a labour law expert on this and he will guide you. Very likely you don't have to return anything if you leave.

i’m not. i was looking for companies when i stumbled upon this information.

If this is for freshers ,i think it's a decent deal. Starting your career, 3 years in the same company is infact good.
Only grapevine freshers get paid 30l on day one. In real life it's unlikely.

This has been going on for years. Mostly a decade. Just the numbers have changed. They used to do 18 for 3 years with 5.5 first then 6.5 and then 7.5.
This is for freshers?

Isn't MuSigma supposed to be a AI first company. Is this the reason the MuSigma employees are treated like shit by fellow data scientists

This sounds crazy, golden handcuff, especially in this day & age, may make sense 10 years back, stay away!
