Expense manager.. but for lazy people

There are plenty of expense manager app in the market, but most people find it very much boring to add entries, check expenses on regular basis. Eventually it unable to solve the problem of keeping user in his/her budget.

I was just thinking of a possible solution let me know your feedback.

  1. You will get a phone call on daily basis. It will ask you “bhaiya aj kitna kharcha hua” , you can reply “ aj 200 ka bus main, 500 ka zomato main lag gaye”

  2. A physical statement will be delivered on your address on month end.

  3. There will be an app also if anyone wants to track expenses in realtime or add manual entries, configuring call timing etc.

Lazy will miss the call too, plus call will be irritating, and it will always be on some fixed time, people might be busy at that time. Maybe try whatsapp, people will just add entries in WhatsApp chat, and the chat will msg you on some fixed time, and you will just have to reply it. Whatsapp is closest to people nowadays. I track a lot of stuffs in WhatsApp dummy groups :)

Call will be fixed time but there will be some retry mechanism also.. lets say after 1 hour a new call be initiated.

But whatsapp idea is also cool

Rather than having a call, enable voice input in app. One has to just say - zomato 200, dairy 80, car petrol 3000

Many apps already have this feature, As I said its for lazy people, these people will rarely open the app, sometimes due to boringness, sometimes they will forgot etc..

The problem is real the app actually becomes boring over a period of time… getting a call and me remembering or looking at where all I have spent then telling i have spent it is a again a pain… imagine getting a call every day… aj kitna kharcha hua.. really problem though!!

User dont need to necessarily use the app, its just one time process to sign up and choose preferred call time.

User can interact with it in most natural language:
Example; Aj 200 zomato main gaya, baki idhar udhar milake 400 rs hoga sayed.

App will categorise 200 rs as food expense, rest miscellaneous expenses

Why though? Why not automate it?

Hi was thinking exact same sort of idea but rather then asking just directly want to integrate upi apps with my app so automatic entry is made . But then its very easy to say but very difficult to make

There can be many forms of payments apart from upi…. like cc, dc, cash etc
