We are a poor country with no social security. When humans are treated as garbage, empathy goes out of the window and greed takes its place.

Bro, the generation born in 1970-1990 is worst! They have never seen hard times, they got everything with very little effort and have a greed of controlling everything around them.
For them the world revolves around them as if they are the main characters.

Most of the people born in that generation leave separate from their parents, but they don't want their kids to leave them!
They want the next generation to follow them like some religious figures!
So to make you a good follower after you start earning taking financial control is best way, they will ask you to provide your money to them(under the pretext that you lack financial literacy) so that they could make you behave as they want.
Just ask them to teach you financial literacy, and you will see the true colours!
Lol, best way is to consistently break their false sense that they have as a main character, and trust me, initially its very painful but in long run it will protect your mental sanity.
