Just my personal opinion - but these residency programs might not be a great way to find a cofounder.

The best way to find a cofounder is through your own network of close friends and colleagues.

The only reason you cofound with someone shouldn’t be the startup. As it becomes super easy for someone to walk out.

Also Antler might give you really bad terms if they do choose to invest. Not sure about Entrepreneur First

Hey @Brisktalk could you elaborate on the bad terms bit. Context - a startup i am associated with is in discussions with Antler for fund raise.

Man. I got ideas and PoCs but I simply don't enjoy the process of driving it. If you are interested in work that isn't building the product, let me know. I am looking for a co-founder myself.

Okay. "work that isn't building the product" what does it mean?

Marketing, sales etc. I have ideas and know how to but I simply cannot get myself to do these.. they feel like too much of a drag. I can sit and build the software all day and night though.

Antler is a fantastic investor. The team is amazing. Super helpful. Terms are much friendlier than EF. They offer $270K for 10%

This is old, now they offer 150k for. 10%

Yep and those terms don’t make sense to me. Too less for too much
