Early career professional desperate for career advice

Hi, I'm a SWE from India who got laid off in December 2024 due to an internal restructuring from a startup company.

I already had a gap of around 4 months and got a job in May in another startup

But due to the availability of a much senior resource, the company decided to let me go in exactly one month.

I was on probation and have already gotten terminated due to this reason.

I wanted to know if this would show up on my EPFO Since I did draw my one month salary at this firm and I'm not even sure how I can handle and answer this short stint to HR.

Here are my questions,

  1. Do I even mention this short stint in my resume, it feels like a waste to me

  2. Will they be able to find out about this during background checks

  3. What documents do you guys think I should collect from my previous company other than my offer and joining letter and salary slip?

  1. remove this stint from the resume
  2. They won't, they will only check for jobs that you writie in resume or in BGV
  3. Only Form 16. As you won't show this job on resume, so other documents don't matter

You have no clue how much your simple answer helped, I'm a normal fresher hustling everyday and was extremely worried after these mishaps in life.

Thanks!
