Doing my best still searching
Hi I’m N….
I didn’t come from a design school. No fancy degree. No formal training.
Everything I know about design, I learned from YouTube tutorials, free resources, and a lot of trial and error. I was (and still am) a self-learner.
After months of learning, building, and applying, I landed my first full-time job as a Product Designer. I worked there for a year, designing products end-to-end, learning how things actually work in the real world.
Then, I got what felt like my “big break” — an internship at Zomato as a Product Designer. I honestly thought this tag would change my life. I thought it would open doors. I thought I’d work hard, prove myself, and get the full-time offer.
But reality hit differently. My internship ended, and there wasn’t a place for me on the team. No PPO. No next step.
And now, I’m back in the job market — but it feels even harder. Everywhere I look, companies are hiring Lead Designers or Senior Designers, but there are barely any openings for someone like me who’s still early in their journey yet full of drive.
I know my worth, my skills, and my passion. I just need the right opportunity to keep going.
If you know of any Product Designer roles — especially for early or mid-level designers — please let me know. I’m open to learning, adapting, and proving myself all over again.
Sometimes the road isn’t a straight line. But I’m still walking it.
