I don't mind spending 1-2 k extra to be on the airbus fleet.

Same - and that's what I've been thinking about Perhaps this is the first time I hear from multiple folks that 1-2k extra is fine.
I am sure this affects Akasa, Air India Express at some level
I know the odds of anything happening is still very small, but just doesn't feel right to take a Boeing anymore

So if airbus is 3k more, you'd stick to boeing ? So your life is worth 2k but not 3k?

You have an equal chance of dying in India, doesn't matter if its boeing or airbus - the technician who maintains the aircraft isn't well paid or conforms to OEM standards

Go for Indigo. Most of their planes are from Airbus only

I always book airbus even if price is 3k higher for domestic.

I've been avoiding 787

Travelled in Indigo in the past few years, so never got the opportunity to do this 😭
Fun Fact: I somehow know how to cold start a Boeing 737-800, but not an Airbus A320 😭😭

Yes it feels scary being on a boeing plane especially during turbulence
There is a documentary on netflix that details out their wrong doing

I check and skip boeing
