Do PM interviews test more on your interview skills than on the job skills

Lately I have been giving interviews for APM/PM roles, it seems interviewers are looking more on how well you can solve a guesstimate/product design question than what you have done in the past, has anyone gone through a similar phase?

Any resources that can be referred for PM interview prep?

Yes, questions in pm interviews are similar to asking dsa in developer interviews.
No use of these in real job. Real job is much more than that.
