Disappointing Offer

I recently received an offer for Manager - Data Analytics from DE Shaw Hyd - 38.2 lpa fixed and 6.8 lpa bonus. I'm currently (D&A Manager - Unilever) at 29.3 fixed + 5.7 var. I feel DE shaw is low balling me with a mere 30% hike on fixed. They don't have any fixed salary ranges per designation and they are reputed for competitive compensation. Basis my research, this the salary for someone with 5-7 years of experience at Shaw. Plus, they (the Director) is not taking into account my relocation from BLR to HYD and is not willing to pay any relocation bonus. I will have a lot to leave behind at the personal front. I'm thinking of putting forward a counter for 45 lpa fixed but if the 30% hike is what they're fixed on, I'm not considering it strongly.

Another BIG thing - my role has gone redundant at my current org and I might be moved to some team randomly. I have been a top performer throughout my career. I am scared and confused now. What do you recommend I do?

Yeah, this looks like a bit lowballed offer, specially considering that you have 10 yrs of experience too. But do keep in mind that in current times, for last 1 yr or so, many renowned companies are trying to lowball like this. If they see that package is already at 3x, they try to give something around 30%. You should try to find if they have given better to someone in recent times.

I was recently an intern at DE Shaw. I had troubles with my manager from the start, as he was very hands-off, and wasn't really available from the start.

In the end, I ended up with a PPO, However, the compensation offered seems to be l...
