Didn't give PPO to Intern because he spat Gutkha on wall
Last week I was walking downstairs near the Chai Sutta spot. I spotted many new faces/interns. We have a cohort of interns right now some of whom will potentially get a PPO.
Some were vaping. Some were smoking cigarettes. But fucking hell, I saw an Intern spitting Gutkha on the wall. I am not a very senior employee but I clicked a picture of that intern along with that wall. I talked to a friend of mine who is dealing with these interns and asked him to forward this incident to seniors.
Came to know today that the Intern in question will not be given a PPO. Apparently, he has submitted sub-par work throughout the internship along with shoddy behaviour with other interns. Also, came to know that he was also complained about for making regressive remarks about women.
I wonder if people like these even deserve to be in corporate india.
