Developer to Scrum master

I need a career guidance that can I move to Scrum master from developer with 3.6 years of experience...Now I'm planning to do the scrum certification and can I change my role to Scrum once I did the certificate. Kindly suggest....

First do certification then try to get the project internally worked on 6 Months then try opportunity outside. Because without work experience u will be stuck in an interview because they always ask scenarios based questions not theories based. I also moved from rpa developer to scrum master role. So I faced many failures mostly they asked scenarios. I did not have work experience. I searched a lot and got deep knowledge after 5 months of hard work I got a project now I am looking for an outside opportunity. I will suggest Just go through work experience then apply outside.
I also want to move to this role can u guide me
