But yes in open-source deepseek is good but one problem with that is it is paid when you fetch its API.
What is your basis of saying this? I was using o1 thus far and have been happy to switch to Deepseek R1. This is also what all benchmarks show.
Obviously it's not comparable to o3 but no one used o3 day to day because of its costs anyway
