Cred Garage: Anybody who works at Cred and can help me understand the reasoning behind this product?

It’s like Digilocker but with some additional useless features.

One more scam. Their fans and investors of course would be wetting their knickers, "Wew, new Cred ad!"

Data is the new oil !!! Basically Kunal shah wants to collect data.. not saying that others are no collecting but I feel cred has ability to use data in better fashion. I shop a lot from cred and it is usually cheaper than amazon.

When you have rich with funds (not yours but investors) but poor with idea (copy park+, copy P2P etc etc) then you come with garage 😜

Interesting design concepts. Flashy (and presumably expensive) marketing campaign. Extremely inefficient website that chokes and glitches a ton when I simply try to navigate it on mobile. Also, I still have no concrete idea of exactly what all features it entails. Is it a standalone product? A subscription? No idea. Speaks volumes.

Cred read through all their credit statements, found car spend segment is the best.

Cred is not doing anything different but doing same things differently. Don't be surprised if you see cred offering same services as phonepe gpay or paytm. The only difference it cred is collecting data of top 1% which has more value.
Aap chronology samjhiye.. First they captured your credit card payment data...and offered loan (Mint).
Then accessed your cc statements and realised thar you are spending more on flights and hotels... offered escapes
Looked at your spending pattern and launched shops where are promoting new age D2C brands. Similarly, with utility payments.
Now with garage cred will have your vehicle data which will be used to sell you car insurance. Tracking your fastag will help in curating hotel deals (weekend escapes) With petrol spending data cred will offer you car servicing, helping you with resale, upgrading with offers for premium car cos/ EVs etc..
Gpay and paytm has data of millions of customers but cred has data of people who genuinely spend.
