Hello, I am a Java fullstack developer with almost 3 years experience working at a bank. I have got 2 offers: 1 from a big company regulated by RBI but it is a financial market organization where my immediate role would be to migrate PL/SQL to Java code, another is a small product based B2B company that serves its products to clients and has some well known clients. However, I would get the opportunity to work on all products of the company, develop new features and be a more active participant in growth of the company. This small company is even working to expand globally and has good sales of its new products.
I am getting somewhat more salary in the small company but from a knowledge and career growth perspective, considering I want to get a job abroad, working in which job would likely be a better choice? What would be the drawbacks of each company?
The small company sounds exciting for growth and global exposure, plus a bit more salary is always nice. The big company offers stability but might limit your learning. Choose based on what you value more right now 🌍
