Complex Adulting

A very close friend called me up on Sunday. He is earning around 30L at age 24. From his voice, I sensed there was something wrong. He told me he is confused. 30L is not sufficient and he added even if he is getting 60L that also won't help because responsibilities keep piling on. He is trying to find an answer to this very complex question

I have another very close friend earning 1.5 Cr at age 23. He also rambles on with the same thing.

I on the other hand started with a modest salary then started a business with a real world problem, kept the shop running for 1.5 years. Had to shut down. But the learning and the joy of following my heart cannot be compared. I don't earn much now Compared to both my friends and in between jobs. But the same question does cross my mind too frequently.

What are your thoughts? How do you feel about that?
