Car buying thread

Car nerds of Grapevine, what cars under 10-25 lacs do you like and would recommend buying?

What are your cars to buy generally under 20 lacs?

Please don’t say Porche, Ferrari and stuff. Most people can’t afford that with their own money.

Taigun and Virtus look awesome man. But they’re damn expensive

German cars are expensive and high maintenance. But give long run. Toyota is also good, but they aren’t producing any cars in this range. Glanza is just Suzuki with Toyota stamp

3XO. Top safety, rugged engine, great comfort and a total VFM car

whats VFM man

I second this. Got a 3xO last year, it is just awesome.

Safety top notch, acceleration and power delivery is mind blowing, this is the best about the car. AXL5 variant costed me 17.15 in Bangalore.

Got to know some discounts also being offered now that they have just released a small cosmetic change in 3xO.

Cons: mileage in city is 9-10 but you cant blame car for it. Bangalore traffic sucks.

Total VFM for sure.

The fact that you have such wide range of budget tells me you're not a serious buyer yet (give it 1-2 months and you would have narrowed it down), and so deserve the rolls Royce recommendations you're getting 😅

Bhai…. Same here.. I have Nexon diesel which is quite good, I drive daily almost 55k in 2 years.. But the love of honda city stayed in my heart and one fine day I bought it. Specifically the 2013 model which I admired the most as a child. Everyone in the family was against it because we never bought preowned cars. I still went ahead and bought one in good condition ( I fell for the scam that it’s doctor driven.. I still can’t believe myself.. ) .. I spent around 3.6 Lacs just to fulfill this dream.. I bought it home, I would just stare at it but man the car was only good from the outside.. I had to sell it for the loss of 70k in just 2 months.. I only drove it for less than 500 km.. But it was worth the experience.. I am glad I got over it in just 70k.. Sedans are really not made for India.. Except you go with new gen Virtus or Slavia .. They have good gc..
