So, I just requested for a PF withdrawal from my very first company (2016-2020). Yes, after 5 years of leaving the company. Also, I never transferred it to my next company’s pf acc. This company has their own trust PF fund and their own portal for all things PF. The question here is they’re deducting a very heavy TDS on the withdrawal amount. Can someone please explain what could be the possible TDS calculation here?
P.S. I will write them an email once the final amount hits my bank account.
But first, tell us how did you access epfo profile and how could you see the number of PF accounts, individual accounts balances and total balance across all accounts?
I can't seem to get these 3 fundamentally basic information anywhere even after logging in (after spending 2 hours in 50 attempts to login)
