Byjus is now a dictatorship

Apparently there’s a policy that employees can’t talk about stuff with media houses 🤡

Umm, many companies have that policy. Employees cant talk to media directly on behalf of their company and it has to be routed through Corp Comms.

Or did i get that wrong?

Technically, an employee at any established company can't share what's happening within their company as that would be breach of guidelines/policies. Ideally, anything related to what's happening at a company should go via their corporate communications channel/medium.

Although I'm not in support of employees voice being suppressed, even a lie/rumour can make the situation very bad for a company, especially when they're already in a difficult situation.
