An Employee 4.2L being so loyal and works for the organisation πͺπ day and night (rotational shift) by maintaining zero pending task & zero escalation through out the year.

βοΈ Got 1-3 % of hike π Salary got updated to 4.5LPA π₯Ί
Lost hope -- work spirit -- again back to office doing the same work with half hearted zero interest.
Suddenly NEW joinnee appears.. with the same work spirit. And with no interest we need to provide KT. -------This part doesn't hurt π
But this part --- when u get to know that ----> new joinee got the job offer with 6LPA. ----> and still NEW Joinee feels that 6LPA is not sufficient and asks about promotion and hike to PM. π€¨
π³ Once KT completed - They release you from Project and put you on the bench waiting for the project.
Bench period completed. π²
Then the layoff happens.. π€― That Employee is thrown out.π΅βπ«

So in all of this, what is the bitter truth that you learnt?
Donβt be loyal, do whatever suits you. If you find a better opportunity outside go for it. The loyalty ship in current business has sailed a long time back.
