Generally speaking, family goes through variety of stuff on daily basis. As you stay away from them and depends on how frequently you speak with them, you will come to know brief or few important incidents/experiences/issues in from their life. Eventually, both parties will be disconnected as not much participation or involvement in daily stuff as it's not relevant anymore.
So I suggest, keep talking to them, involve (or just listen) in their small stupid issues/stuff in daily life. (though it's irrelevant) E.g today main came late today so mom's routine was impacted and story around it.

✔️

I was out for 15+ years, have leaned a lot and become better day by day
- Respect homemade food when you are having at home. Mess Food ❌
- Friends are family
- Struggle is inevitable

Not been away from my home for 10 but 5 years and i already feel it has been too much.
Shifting places every 3-4 months is just not what is sustainable and worth doing. The pgs and the pathetic food and dont get me started on how unprofessional this pg industry is.
Having said that looking back it has been a journey in which i have learnt a lot, matured a wholeee lot.
Living with friends is muchhhhhhh muchhh better than living alone. As long as you are not the person who likes the complete and total lack of company id suggest having a roommate.
Now im greatful truely greatful for the life i have for every little thing. It has been a truely humbling expreience. Going out of home i feel is a necessary character development arch everyone has to go through.
